The TKS FIT FEET Walking Group completed a 13.1mile ½ marathon walk on Saturday Sept. 20th.

All were very wet but very excited to have completed the walk.

Inches and pounds were left along the roadside during their 10 week training program.

Times for walkers were from 2 hours 42 minutes to 3 hours 26 minutes.

"The TKS Fitness Center is very proud of all of those that trained and competed.

We also had wonderful sponsors that helped make our first ½ marathon walk a great success," said Sue McLemore, Fitness Supervisor.

"We plan to continue walking and training for another ½ marathon in December," she added.

Call Sue McLemore 635-0997 if you would like more information on the FIT FEET Group or other activities at the TKS.
